Fiordland is the region with the most rainfall and of course, we couldn't escape the rain and fog neither. But nonetheless, we fell in love with the landscape and the fog definitely gives it a mysterious touch. We cruised both Doubtful and Milford Sound, loved all the waterfalls, the green mountains and the quiet fjords. Even the drive up to the fjords was spectacular, with lots of lakes, creeks and countless mountains. We then even discovered a hidden crystal clear blue pool, which we had all to ourselves.

Fjordland ist die Ecke mit dem meisten Regenfall und natürlich konnten auch wir dem nicht entkommen. Allerdings haben wir uns auch so in die Region verliebt, und der Nebel macht sie nur noch mysteriöser. Wir haben Bootstouren über den Doubtful und Milford Sound gemacht und konnten unzählige Wasserfälle, grüne Berge und die ruhigen Fjorde bestaunen. Sogar die Fahrt zu den Fjorden war unbeschreiblich mit ihren Seen, Flüssen und Bergen. Caro's Highlight waren die kristallklaren verstecken Blue Pools, die wir trotz des ganzen Touri-Rummels ganz für uns alleine hatten!
