We included Mexico last-minute into our trip and did only a tiny part of this country, but we are so glad we did! The turquoise lagoon in Bacalar is the perfect place to chill (and get sunburned), Chichen Itzá provides great history and the cenotes are a much needed refreshment in this hot weather. Besides this, we did some nice dives, saw cute hummingbirds and were really happy to meet Sophie again, who we met previously in Tonga. It's a small world after all.

Das türkise Wasser in Bacalar lädt zum chillen ein (inklusive Sonnenbrand), die Pyramiden von Chichen Itzá zum Staunen und die Cenotes sind die absolut erforderliche Abkühlung bei der vorherrschenden Hitze. Zudem waren wir tauchen, haben Kolibris beobachtet und ein paar schöne Tage mit Sophie verbracht, einer Freundin die wir in Tonga kennen gelernt haben. Die Welt ist doch klein...
