Two small towns but oh how great! Timaru probably has the most beautiful bay (not only because it is Caroline) and we were able to see some cute Little Blue Penguins come ashore. In Oamaru, we spotted some Yellow Eyed Penguins and loved taking a stroll through the victorian quarter. The Steampunk Capital and its museum are for sure not the ordinary city!

Zwei Kleine Städchen aber umso schöner! Timaru hat eine der schönsten Strandpassagen (nicht nur, weil sie Caroline heisst) und wir konnten sogar Zwergpinguine an Land watscheln sehen. In Oamaru haben wir Geldaugenpinguine beobachten können und haben einen Spaziergang durch das Viktorianische Viertel genossen. Die Steampunk Hauptstadt ist eine willkommene Abwechlung zu den ordinären Städten!
